Usually when we say clear laminated glass, it means 2 sheets clear float glass add PVB film at middle. We can adjust the glass thickness and PVB thickness as our demand.
The glass can be: 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm etc.
The PVB can be: 0.38mm, 0.76mm, 1.14mm, 1.52mm, 2.28mm, 3.04mm etc.
The most popular laminated glass is: 3+0.38+3, 4+0.38+4, 5+0.38+5, 6+0.38+6, 5+0.76+5, 6+0.76+6, etc.
The standard sizes: 1830X2440, 3300x2134/2140, 3660X2134/2140, 3300X2250, 3660x2250, 3300X2440, 3660X2440.
Properties:
1) Safety: if impacted by outside forces, it shatters but never splinters to protect objects or persons inside
2) Sound insulation
3) UV-proof. Laminated glass can insulate most UV while allowing visible light to transmit. Thereby protecting furniture, carpeting and indoor decorations against aging and fading
